Jackie Doyle-BrettThe Revd Jacqueline Doyle-Brett (Vicar)

Jackie became Vicar of St Luke's in June 2016. Married to Dave and with two grown-up daughters, Jackie is a former teacher from the East Riding of Yorkshire, and also serves as Assistant Diocesan Advisor - Young Vocations.

 

Liz Carrington

The Revd Liz Carrington (Deacon)

Liz was ordained Deacon in 2009 after nearly five years as a Reader. A member of St Luke's for many years, Liz was International Development Adviser to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy until her retirement in 2010.

 

Lynn Comer

Lynn Comer (Reader)

Lynn became a Reader in the 1990s and is a long-standing member of St Luke's. She is married to Mark with one son, and is Director of the York School of Ministry for the Diocese of York.

 

Martin Sheppard

Martin Sheppard (Reader)

Martin became a Reader in 2013 after many years at St Luke's. Married to Aniko with two grown-up children, he works in communications for the Church of England and is an occasional chronicler of the Archdeaconry of Gridlington.

 

 Elaine Hill (Churchwarden)

 A Registered Nurse, Elaine is now a senior manager for a group of hospices.  Elaine was elected Churchwarden in 2013 and is kept young and fit by three grandchildren.

 

Mark Reilly-Usher

Mark Reilly-Usher
(Churchwarden and Recognised Parish Assistant)

Mark has served St Luke's in a dazzling array of capacities for an unbelievably long time and has appeared in just about every costume you can imagine (as well as some you really couldn't). He and Simon have two sons and Mark works as a healthcare planning consultant when he needs some peace and quiet.

 

 

Becky Allright (Ordinand)

Becky has joined St Luke's as an Ordinand in Contextual Training.  She joins us from Clifton Parish Church and will be with us until July 2018.  She is studying on the Yorkshire Ministry course based at Mirfield, West Yorkshire.
